Steve Jobs who Died at the age of 56 was a visionary
which started a revolution that we all benefitted from
and still do - mobiles, computers, animated films he was
the one to start it all. Steve Job and Steve Wozniak
founded in the late seventy/early eighties a well known
company called APPLE, Steve Jobs was the ideas and
innovator and (Woz) Steve Wozniak was the hardware
genius that brought Jobs's ideas to life. There
biggest contribution for the digital age was a computer
which everyone could own (APPLE1) then a new invension
GUI which supported a mouse and a graphic user interface
(GUI) this was the biggest breakthrough in computers as
before that you had to type commands in to operate a
computer, Steve Jobs created a completely new concept
which would soon be mimicked my Microsoft in there
products known as Windows, Steve began the revolution
which business in those days did not understand for even
believe that normal people would want a computer due to
the success of APPLE, Jobs created many new products but
his forcing boss nature made him a tyrant in his ways of
management but even though he was like this to his staff
they worshipped him like a god anyway due to the way
Steve ran the company he was forced to leave APPLE.
Then there was a small software company known for
animations called Pixar, it was struggling for work and
was soon to be shutdown, Steve Jobs had created a new
company called NeXT which were a new breed of graphic
computer which would help Pixar gain its power once
more, with the release of "Toy Story" Pixar was soon to
be a big player in the world of entertainment and Toy
Story was an instant success grossing 60 million in box
office and soon after were created sequels and new films
which were equalling the success of Toy Story , after
many years and Pixar grossing many billions, Jobs sold
Pixar to Walt Disney Company for 7.8 Billions and then
sold NeXT computers to APPLE for which he then returned
as CEO of APPLE, he wanted to innovate new products and
came up with quite a new line of closed hardware
products which began with IPOD, soon to merge with
mobile phone technology he created the concept of IPHONE
and IPAD which could use virtually use the same software
and all linked to ITUNES store which allowed people to
pay a premium download on music, games and other
applications which was an innovation in its self.
However at that time ITUNES was only available to APPLE
products until they designed a version for Windows OS.
Apple once more was success and this opened a door to
new technology but now as Android and other software
products come to market the story is clear that Apple
once more began a revolution fronted by one man Steve
Jobs.
