Developing software is an art, if you are a beginner or even as advanced as a developer like me, you will never stop learning new things, thanks to the internet and the forums & MSDN and other developer networks programming is more simple to learn and will help you if you get stuck!

If you can grasp learning to write code and knowing what it does your on a winner, plenty of people can use a computer but can they understand how it works or how its operating system works and so on!

For the many simple features and quick code generation I have mainly used BASIC, even though it sounds to people like its a simple way to program the term BASIC certainly is not ... BASIC stands for Beginners All-purpose Symbolic Instruction Code)

And is quite a powerful programming environment if you line the code correctly you can make program run very quickly and more or less do ANYTHING with it.

A powerful BASIC programming is used on certain OPEN GL/3D advanced games and once the coding is compiled the gaming is virtually real-time, for this you can use Dark BASIC which allows you to create 3D worlds, implement Sprites and have real-time real play environments.  There are other products out there such as for web design you can now write good effective code and run it in a true 3D realm environment generated in Active X and Flash environments such as Fireworks.
